Ripple Tumbles 20.09% In Rout

On Wednesday, Ripple was trading at 0.34272 by 04:05 (08:05 GMT) on the Index , down 20.09% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since January 16.

The move downwards pushed Ripple’s market cap down to $13.67B, or 5.94% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ripple’s market cap was $79.53B.

Ripple had traded in a range of $0.34072 to $0.37836 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ripple has seen a drop in value, as it lost 20.95%. The volume of Ripple traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was 303.42M or 1.97% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $0.34072 to $0.44800 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ripple is still down 89.58% from its all-time high of $3.29 set on January 4.

Bitcoin was last at $6,472.1 on the Index, down 8.63% on the day.

Ethereum was trading at $366.14 on the Index, a loss of 11.59%.

Bitcoin’s market cap was last at $111.77B or 48.60% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Ethereum’s market cap totaled $37.55B or 16.33% of the total cryptocurrency market value./
