On Tuesday, German food package firm HelloFresh SE posted a positive adjusted EBITDA for the first time since its commercial debut, citing strong performance in the United States, a key market, days after its rival with U.S. based Blue Apron reported poor quarterly results.
HelloFresh expects revenue growth in constant currency of around 28% to 30%, and AEBITDA margin of minus 1% to 1%.
The German company, which operates in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands and the United States, narrowed its full outlook to the upper end of its previous forecast.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization adjusted for the second quarter came to 18.3m euros ($ 20.48m), compared to a loss of 3.9m euros a year – the previous period./investing
